Your iOS device had been designed and manufactured for daytime use actually. For this reason when you start using your iDevice at night or in a dark environment, you feel you get blinded by your iDevice’s screen. Thing drives to this reflex is blue light which is also very harmful for your eyes, and can causes sleep disorders.

Unblue is the very first app minimises effects of blue light on the App Store which helps you to protect your eyes while browsing the Web and prevents sleep disorders.

P.S. We will continue to develop Unblue with new features. We look forward for your feedbacks. Please note that device level blue light filter is not possible without a system function in iOS.

Pros and cons of Unblue app for iPhone and iPad

Unblue app good for

Given the limitations of iOS is is a good workaround for a nighttime reader. It would be great to be able to access safari bookmarks and if you can adjust colour temperature.
Note that this is only an overlay for a browser. When you open the app, all you get is a browser. It does not provide the filter for anything else.
Great for sole internet browsing! So much easier to look at screen. Cant wait for it to be a switch on the iPhone!

Some bad moments

Wish I would have read the reviews. Does not even Unblue the keyboard just the browser. Worst $2.99 I ever spent.
Misleading to say the least.Only blocks blue with browser. You know it's misleading to start with.Is there no end to folks like you? So I lost a couple of bucks which I don't expect to be refunded.I will report a favorable refund,if not I will continue to report the truth like those before.
Dear Unblue developers, I was under the impression that this app yellows the entire screen of my device, not just the browser. This was not mentioned in the product description and hence I am requesting a refund. You should be more clear about the features of your product before misleading people to purchase it. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Nazlee
Thought it was an app that yellowed the screen after a set hour of the day. It is actually a yellowed browser, no more than that. I use quite a few other apps after dark, rarely the browser. This should be clearly stated in the app description, not mislead people describing effects of blue light and assorted blah blah blah. Useless.
It will not "Unblue" your screen because this is just a browser with a yellow layer on top (and a bad kind of yellow). When you get out of the app your screen will be as blue as always. Dont buy it.
I also want my money back! It only works in its own website, and this was not previously informed.
